Dominic Nyarko Yeboah

Dominic Nyarko Yeboah also known as Most Reverend Dominic Yeboah Nyarko was born on December 19, 1953, in Nsuta, a location in the former Brong-Ahafo Region.

Educational Background

His academic journey began at Nsuta R/C Primary School, spanning from 1959 to 1965, and continued at Nsuta L/A Middle School from 1966 to 1969. Subsequently, he enrolled in St. Hubert Minor Seminary in Kumasi in 1977 and successfully completed his studies in 1984. Later, he pursued tertiary education at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary in Cape Coast from 1984 to 1990, earning a Diploma in Theology. In 2004, he achieved a postgraduate certificate in public administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). During his time in the USA from 2005 to 2007, he obtained an MA in Religious Education from Fordham University in The Bronx.

Ordination On July 21, 1990, Most Rev. Dominic Yeboah Nyarko was ordained as a Priest in the Sunyani Diocese.

Professional Journey

Following his ordination, he served as an Associate Pastor at the Dormaa Ahenkro Parish from 1990 to 1991. In 1991, he took on the role of both spiritual and vocations director at St. James Minor Seminary in Sunyani, a position he held until 1997. In 1998, he became the Associate Pastor at St. Theresa of Avilla in Berekum. Later, in 1999, he served as the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Sampa until 2004 when he relocated to the USA. During his time in the USA, from 2004 to 2007, he served as an Associate Pastor at St. Columba Church in Brooklyn.

Bishop life

In 2007, he was appointed as the Bishop of the newly created Techiman Diocese and on 19th March 2008 he had his Episcopal Ordination.
