Rules

Wikipedia
  • Translate the Wikipedia articles below. Information in tables can be translated into sentences under sections. Please carefully check that the sentences are correct and do not forget to add references. Kindly add links as much as possible. More points will be awarded when audio recordings of the pronunciation of the constituency is added to the article


Wikicommons
  • Wikicommons submissions can be added by following the steps below:
  • Download and install the app Spell4Wiki on your Google Play Store
  • Log in with your Wikipedia username and password
  • Select Spell for Word
  • At the top left corner change language to Twi
  • Type in the word you want to record audio for (Constituency name)
  • Select record and after the app checks and makes sure that word has not already been recorded press and hold on the red microphone and pronounce the word in a noise free area
  • Press play to listen to your recording and make sure it is right. Check the declaration
  • Select upload to upload on Wikicommons


Outcome
  1. When you are done editing the Wikipedia page and Wikicommon item,
  2. Claim your entry by going here and signing ~~~~ next to your entry.
  3. A facilitator will review your edits and add Article done next to your signature if a Wikipedia article you created or edited meets the contest rules.
  4. Another facilitator will review your edits and add Commons Audio done next to your signature if the Wikicommons audio has been added to the article you created.
  5. A third facilitator will review Wikipedia articles and add Done. If both Wikipedia article with Wikicommons audio meet the contest rule. The green correct sign, shows both Wikipedia and Wikicommons item is completed.
  6. When the audios are added to the Wikicommons items' a facilitator will add Audio done to the item if the audio is correct and noise free.
  7. If you don not see any of the correct signs, yellow, pink and green by an item in the list or a facilitator adds  Not done next to your signature, then you don't get a point; in which case another participant can come around and work on it to claim the point for that entry, or you may go back to working on the entry, or try a different Constituency altogether.
